Directions from Christchurch

 

From Christchurch airport travel north along state highway 1 until you get to Amberley.

Continue along state highway 1 heading north.

Just out of Amberley is Waipara Hills Winery.

Turn left opposite the winery on to Georges Road.

Karetu Downs is approximately 21.2 kilometres from the beginning of Georges Road.

Head onto Ram Paddock Road past the vineyards and along the winding Waipara Gorge.

Travel past Iron Ridge Quarry Sculpture Park.

You will leave the sealed road and continue along a gravel road.

We are approximately 10.3 kilometres from the start of the gravel road.

Look for the Bed & Breakfast sign on the left hand side of the road.
