THE GARDEN

Golden elm, sycamore, oak, dogwoods, magnolia, and crab-apples under planted with azaleas, camellia and rhododendrons give structure to this garden. Paths wind alongside the creek and through woodlands of Japanese anemone, trilliums, hellebores, and Hosta. In Spring daffodils, tulips, freesias, and hyacinths pop with colour. Summer brings with its offerings of colourful perennials, roses, and dahlia and the orchard and vegetable garden provide fresh produce for our farm stay guests. Karetu is a gardener’s delight where peace and tranquillity reign.
